Real Experience.
Real Progress.
Two terms of proven leadership on Council, working collaboratively to move difficult projects forward, resolve long-standing issues, and build a community that's livable now and for generations to come.
Investment.
Stewardship.
For All Generations.
Real progress on aging infrastructure, municipal facilities, and community affordability takes more than good intentions. It takes political will. After eight years on Fernie City Council, I'm committed to making the responsible decisions that build a better future for everyone.
i chose Fernie to put down my roots
I moved to Fernie 20 years ago. I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and had been visiting Fernie since the late 1980s to ski. After travelling and living all over the world, I spent a winter here, came back the following year for a summer, and never left.
I have washed dishes, cleaned toilets, managed teams, and started my own businesses. I understand what it takes to make a go of it in Fernie. My wife and I are raising our daughter here. I want to ensure that Fernie remains an authentic, vibrant community, one where we can continue to live as we get older and retire, and where my daughter can choose to build her own life when she's ready.
Over the last eight years as a City Councillor, I've gained the depth of knowledge needed to guide Fernie's next Council toward continued success. I'm running for Mayor to build on the progress of the last eight years, and to keep Fernie livable now and into the future.
Real Issues.
Honest Solutions.
Explore my platform. I have gathered my thoughts and perspective into these white papers to help communicate to the community my direction.
